City Communications Plan

In September 2021, the City of Helena finalized this comprehensive Communications Plan. The plan was the culmination of a process that centered around a multi-department working group and included input from the public. This plan will serve as a guide for City of Helena staff on best practices and expectations for communicating and engaging with the public.

This plan identifies overarching goals and corresponding objectives. By creating this plan, the City commits to focusing on the defined goals and objectives over the course of several years. The Public Information Officer will lead execution of the plan. City staff will continue to evaluate the needs of the community and update the plan as appropriate.
