City of Helena Listening Sessions

In an effort to create meaningful dialogue between residents and leadership on the issues that matter most to our community, the City is hosting monthly listening sessions. These sessions provide transparent updates on major projects, emerging priorities, and key areas of public interest, while ensuring community voices are heard and valued.

Description:

Community Listening Sessions will be held monthly and centered on one featured topic of high relevance or impact. Each session will begin with a concise 10–15 minute presentation providing background information, current status updates, and future outlook.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and provide input. Relevant staff members will be present to offer subject-matter expertise and respond directly to community concerns.

Members of the Commission will attend each session to listen, engage, and better understand resident priorities.

To broaden participation, we're asking the public to submit their questions, comments and suggestions before and after the event, to ensure input is captured even if attendance is not possible.
