The City of Helena staff are seeking input on proposed 2026 Open Lands Major Projects. There are several ways to share your thoughts including providing comment via the tool below, or by attending the City's Listening Session and Open House.
Listening Session
The City will host an initial listening session on December 18 at 5:30 p.m., in room 426 at the City County Building (316 North Park Avenue, Helena, MT 59623) and via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89888636060. City staff will present recommended open lands major projects, with project analysis, and environmental analysis, and accept public comment on those proposed projects.
Open House
Staff will present the project plan, informed by the public comments received at the Listening Session and online (through January 2, 2026), and will accept further public comment on any changes. The Open House will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26. at the City County Building, RM 426 and on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82900219404.
The first round of public comment will be accepted through January 2, 2026.
