Ten Mile Water Treatment Plant Filter Upgrade
This project is to replace and add isolation and air/vacuum release valves on the existing Cross-Town Connector water transmission main. The transmission main connects the City’s potable water distribution system from the Ten Mile Water Treatment Plant transmission main in US Highway 12 on the west side of town to finished water storage facilities, and to the Missouri River Water Treatment Plant at 2560 Canyon Ferry Road.
Cross-Town Connector Valve Replacement

West Main St. Eureka to Hale Connector Project
This project is to provide a submerged water main connection to the existing Hale Water Storage Tank located on Rodney Ridge and associated water distribution system improvements, to provide domestic water supply not reliant on pump stations for the West Main and Reeder’s Village neighborhoods.
Ten Mile Diversion Structures Replacement Project
This project is to replace and upgrade six existing aging concrete and wood raw water diversion structures located at various locations within the Ten Mile Creek Watershed.
Red Mountain Flume Repair Project
This project is to repair and upgrade the lower portion of the City of Helena’s Red Mountain Flume, which is a 5.3-mile-long surface water diversion located constructed in the 1860s located on the northern slopes of Red Mountain. The flume conveys diverted water from Banner Creek and several additional creeks to Chessman Reservoir. The project area is located approximately 12 miles southwest of the City of Helena.
