Type of Engagement

This plan is built around your input. The City has committed to a robust, multi-channel engagement process that reaches every corner of the Helena community. We want to hear from Helena residents, park and urban trail users, youth and families, older adults, outdoor recreation enthusiasts, youth sports organizations, community nonprofits, people with disabilities, lower-income households, local businesses, environmental groups, and even those who don’t currently use parks. We are making an extra effort to connect with people who don’t always have a chance to participate—such as youth, people with disabilities, and households with limited resources—to make it easier for everyone to share their input. Your input is shared with the City-County Consolidated Parks Board and Helena City Commission — the bodies responsible for adopting the final Plan.
